Before After What we found and what we did In July 2026 we visited a residential property in Woodstock, GA for a three-surface job: a soft wash on the house exterior, driveway cleaning on the concrete out front and along the side, and a pressure wash on the rear concrete patio.

Each surface had its own version of the same problem — Georgia summer working on surfaces that hadn't been cleaned in a while:

The house washing was a soft wash on vinyl siding. The siding had algae growth and general dirt buildup, and we ran a sodium-hypochlorite mix with surfactant at low pressure to clear it.

Technique matters on vinyl. We applied the mix bottom-up so the chemistry didn't streak down dry siding, let it dwell, then rinsed top-down. The before-and-after on the vinyl was sharp.

Algae on siding is common in the Woodstock area during the summer months. Humidity stays high, and the north and rear faces of a house don't dry out quickly between rain cycles. That's all the foothold algae needs.

Driveway cleaning came next. The slab had picked up the grey-black film that concrete gets when it sits without cleaning, with some rust showing up at the surface as well. Our process:

The photos show the front and side concrete before and after, and the difference is obvious — the curb view after cleaning shows how much contrast was hiding under the grime.
